Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient therapy that has been practised for over 5000 years.

Did you know that the feet have 26 bones and over 7,000 nerve endings called reflexes. It is these reflexes that correspond to every organ and system within your body.

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy and is based on the theory that by applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, stimulates the nervous system and opens the energy pathways that may be blocked or congested.

By working on these reflex points Reflexology helps to aid relaxation and reduces the negative effects of stress on the body, helping to improve overall well-being.

A Reflexology treatment aims to restore the body’s natural balance. In this busy world we spend a lot of time on our feet and our feet take a daily pounding and this impact is felt throughout the whole body.

We put our feet under a lot of pressure and never give them a thought until they start hurting.

Reflexology can be enjoyed and be of help to men, women and children of all ages.

Studies have shown that the benefits of reflexology may help you to:

Reduce your stress levels

Aid your physical and mental well-being

Boost your energy

Help ease symptoms of stress & anxiety

Induce relaxation

Improve your circulation

Strengthen the immune system

Why not treat yourself or someone else to a relaxing reflexology treatment and experience the benefits of this amazing treatment that helps you be the best you can be.

Ear Reflexology

Auricular / Ear Reflexology

Did you know that you can learn a lot about a person and their state of health from assessing the ears!

Ear Reflexology is recorded in the earliest Chinese medical books dating back to ancient times, over 4000 years ago!

Similar to Foot, Hand and Face Reflexology, Ear reflexology is based on zones and points in the ear which relate to the meridians and other parts of the body.

Our ears are responsible for hearing and balance – Did you know that in Traditional Chinese Medicine the ears and kidneys are linked and that the ears are the same shape and size as our kidneys?? Fascinating isn't it?

The ear is supplied by numerous nerves and this wonderful and relaxing treatment works by directly stimulating the central nervous system, bringing balance to the area that is being worked either through an increase or decrease of energy.

It provides a quick and easy way for you to massage pressure points on your ear to treat aches and pains throughout the body and is a very effective treatment for offering pain relief for musculoskeletal problems, such as frozen shoulder, as well as balancing the whole of the body.
